Painters Redland Bay Case Study

After searching for a local painting company online, Tanya and Michael went with us – their decision came down to our lovely client testimonials and reviews.

Tanya and Michael wanted to ready their home for sale. They hoped to freshen up the faded façade of the home, but because they were selling, they didn’t want to spend too much.

The key challenge with this project was the height of the home. The owners requested a restraining of the timber gable, which required even more height. To make things even trickier, the home had a pool right where we needed to set up the scaffolding.

The owners didn’t want to spend too much, so we suggested that we only paint the existing faded areas to freshen up the front of the home and boost curb appeal. They agreed.

To help us reach high areas of the home, we used trestles and planks with a handrail and plank clamp.

To ensure a perfect result, we first washed the surfaces with a 30-second commercial-grade cleaner. We then filled any gaps. We finished by applying two coats of Dulux Weathershield over Taubmans Viking Grey.

We maintained daily contact with the clients to ensure minimal disturbance, and used drop cloths to protect pathways, gardens, and outdoor furniture.

We finished the job in a reasonable time frame and were able to save Tanya and Michael about $2,000. They were so happy with the result they wanted to write us a testimonial.
