Painters Wellington Point Case Study

Michelle found us in the Little Aussie Directories. With plans to renovate her home completely, she wanted to start with the exterior painting and landscaping. The interior painting, which we will be doing too, will start in 2019.

As we mentioned, Michelle was renovating her home. To start, she wanted her property landscaped and a new pool installed. For the exterior of the property, she wanted a render look but without the price tag.

The block wall at the front of the property was completed with a concrete finish that the homeowner loved. Michelle wanted a product that mirrored this finish for the rest of the home – but without the expense of traditional render.

Other challenges included working around the property’s residents and working at heights.

Our Dulux paint rep visited the client’s property and suggested Acratex Contempo Advance, a product that would deliver a render-like finish for a fraction of the cost. We provided a brochure to Michelle, and she decided it was the perfect solution.

We also arranged a professional colour consultancy service free of charge.

Our team of four painters communicated with the property’s residents on a daily basis to ensure minimal disruption. We used trestle and planks with handrails to reach higher areas and keep our painters safe, and laid drop sheets over pathways, gardens, and furniture.

The job was completed on time, and our team was able to achieve the result Michelle was looking for. What’s more, we saved her a whopping $10,000 – how much it would have cost to render the property before painting.

The homeowners were thrilled with our workmanship and can’t wait to have us back next year to refresh the interior.
